Today's entry is another deviation from my usual beauty entries. I was fortunate enough to work with these amazing people namely Gen of Vieverie Studios, Pau of Strings Manila, and Andy of M'lady thus this blog post. Ohh I love working with creative minds and it thrills me even more to be able to share our work with you bellas. I'll be posting 2 more entries of our collab work so please watch out for it.
Lately I've been obsessed with skater skirts. I also noticed how popular it is in the market nowadays be it online or on boutiques and thrift stores. Designs from printed to basics can be spotted almost everywhere. It's just a perfect piece to rock this summer.
Since it's back to school transition, this will be a great outfit idea for school. My skirt is actually a pair of shorts. Perfect for windy occasions and is very comfortable to walk around with. I won't have to bother being peeked at or having my skirt overturned by the breeze.
I love how my textured top added character and style to my whole look without looking over the top. Plus I only have to pitch in minimal accessories to finish my look.
I also love neutrals because it matches just anything that I could think of. And when a bag is this cute? Grr I can think of thousands of ways to style it. Surprisingly it clashes my outfit in a wonderful way. I can have the best of both worlds in one look being an edgy punky skater girl while still remaining a princess at heart. That's why I love breaking the rules. Usually for me, contrasts will always be the perfect combination.
Boots are perfect for any season and is a shoe basic that you can pair with any clothing style. Be it punk or trendy or street or laid back, a classic bootie can actually pull off any look you want to achieve. I'd just stick to classic designs.
Wanna cheat on height? Wear tights that has the same color as your shoes preferably in dark tones (black, burgundy, maroon, navy, etc.). This will create an illusion of longer and slimmer legs.
So what do you guys think of my outfit? Can I pass being a rebel chic now?
