We all have our darkest deadliest secrets when it comes to beauty and cosmetics. Let me share with you guys my opinions with regards to the seven deadly sins that maybe most of you could relate to.

I would have to say that my hair will always be my Achilles heels. I spend a lot of time when I want to style it because of it's coarse and frizzy texture. Not to mention how much damage it gets from the heat of blow drying and ironing. I thought that the heat from my flat iron was the only thing that damages my locks but I was wrong. Hair damage also occurs once you step outside of the house. Exposing your locks to harmful UV rays and pollution can be a deadly act. It leaves your hair dull and dry. I'm sure that no girl would want to have her crowning glory be a mess right?
Give your mane some TLC by applying a heat protecting serum prior to styling or sun exposure. Our hair is like our skin which needs protection and care.
Nothing is wrong with being presentable and extending your efforts to look presentable. People may call it kaartehan or vanity (lust in the context of makeup) but I believe that it is quite the opposite. Wearing makeup is okay but just bear in mind that feeling beautiful comes from within. Use that confidence to enhance your beauty. Girl, it takes a whole new level of confidence to be able feel good about yourself prior to wearing makeup and when you do, put on a red lipstick for it will make you the most beautiful person there is.
Red lippies are perfect for any occasion and any age group plus it's all the makeup you'll need to achieve that "wow" factor.
Pressure and stress is a common situation that we all go through every now and then. During these circumstances we feel different kinds of emotions like anger, depression, anxiety, etc. which leads us to irrational thinking. It also affects our metabolism, blood circulation and sleeping habits. When our body is not functioning well we tend to experience imbalances that may lead to acne breakout, hair loss, dandruff build-up, dry skin, dysmenorreah, premature wrinkles, fine lines, and the list goes on.
Combat these by conditioning your body. Take vitamins and drink lots of water. Sleep whenever you get the chance and eat properly. Exercise and lean towards an active lifestyle. These little things will not only improve your lifestyle but also help in channeling your stress and anxiety in a more resourceful way.
Like I said in my previous entry "prime and perfect", priming is the most commonly neglected phase during the whole makeup process. There are a lot of reasons for why people skip this phase but I feel that it is commonly due to either their ignorance to the process or they are simply just sloth driven.
I cannot stress it out more but priming is a very important step in achieving a perfect canvas for your makeup to sit in. First it acts as a protective barrier between you skin and your makeup so that everything you layer on your face will not be directly absorbed by the skin. Second, it creates a smooth base that evens out your skin's texture making your foundation/bb cream/cc cream/concealer/tinted moisturized to adhere evenly to the skin. Third, it allows less product usage and creates an illusion of smaller looking pores. It also makes your make up stand for long hours without fading sliding and slipping which makes primers are a definite investment.
Eating is a necessity for man to live but we cannot avoid the stains that food or drinks may leave on our teeth. Our teeth is an important assent when it comes to communication. Usually when talking to someone, our eyes will only focus on either the eyes or the mouth).
Having yellow discolored teeth is quite a turn off. By using the right toothpaste, you can smile brightly and converse confidently to whoever it is whenever you want.
Are you like me who tends to hoard on stuffs? Oh it feels so good to do hauls monthly but is it really okay to buy stuffs just for the sake of acquiring more of the hottest and latest products out in the market?
Greed will make us all selfish and dissatisfied with the simple pleasures in life. Pick products that are great multi-taskers. Why go for a bronzer, eyebrow powder and eye shadow when your eye shadow can already multitask and do all the work?

Excerpt from the" Snow white and the Seven Dwarfs"
Who wouldn't envy a person with flawless looking skin?
Even Queen Maleficent envied Snow White for her beauty.
If flawless supple skin is what you are aiming for then don't forget to do the 3 basic steps CLEANSE, TONE, MOISTURIZE. Add extra moisture to your skin by spritzing a hydrating mist. Some mist can also act as a setting spray keeping your makeup intact all throughout the day. When one lacks confidence with himself/herself envy will eat them. It will be an acid corroding every inch of their human flesh. Love yourself. Feel comfortable in your own skin because no one else will.
