I'm feeling pumped and energetic today so why not do a makeup look. Have you guys ever wondered what an ever ready inspired makeup would look like? Well here it is! Hahaha just kidding. My true inspiration for this look is the ancient Egyptian color scheme.
I simply love the combination of antique gold and black so I pulled the color scheme together and decided to do a smokey eye. It's powerful yet mystifying.

Ohh that chiseled cheeks just completes the look. I'm trying to road test quite a couple of products for this look such as the FS two way cake and the Fashion 21 roll n' dazzle eye pigments. I must say I'm actually quite impressed! Brilliant products at affordable prices.
Please excuse the messy brows. I'm trying to grow them out for re-shaping purposes.
I love how glittery pigments bring life to the eyes. One big challenge when doing a smokey look is that it can look dirty. One great tip to avoid dirty looking smokey eye is by avoiding matte shades. Opt for shimmery shadows. This will give dimension to the eyes without being to plain and boring.
