Taiwan Fever

It"s one hell of a week for me. I've been busy all the time researching and planning for a trip to Taiwan. Yehey! Finally after 21 years of my life I get to experience life outside of the Philippines.

Here are some of the places I plan to visit.
Sun Moon Lake

Taroko Gorge

Taipei 101

Chiang Kai Shek Memorial Hall

Wen Wu temple

Taiwan has a lot of beautiful scenic spots but their night markets are also something to look forward to. You can find all the yummy foods here and they have great bargains of clothes and accessories as well.

Shilin Night Market

moving on to food...
Number one on my eatenirary is the famous xiao long bao.

Seafood is a must try as well.

Pepper Cake

Pineapple cake or what we call Piña Hopia here in the Philippines

Stinky tofu

Coffin bread

Beef noodles

All in all I think Taiwan is an interesting place to visit. I'm really excited to go there. Most of all I'm excited to ride the airplane. It's my first ride and I hope that it's gonna be awesome.

Thank you for stopping by my blog. I hope that you guys enjoyed this post ☺
Does anyone have any suggestion on what to do, eat or visit in Taiwan?

Welcoming summer 2013

I've been MIA for a couple of months now but I am back. The weather here in the Philippines is starting to become really bad. Last time the temperature here in Manila even hiked up to 35 °C. Talk about heat wave. It's getting hotter by the day so I decided to finally have a haircut. Yehey! It's like saying goodbye to my old self to welcome something new. Here are some snap shots. Can anybody guess where I had my hair done?

Yup it's in Lucky Chinatown Mall. To be honest, I'm not a big fan of this branch. I've already had my hair done here twice and I was never impressed with their service. Nonetheless, the stylist did a good job in cutting my hair. After I went to Chatime with my siblings.

Yup my sister's an architecture student in UST and I was an advertising student.

Say hi to my newly trimmed hair. :)

Thank you for stopping by. I hope you enjoyed reading my blog.
Cheers to all the graduates of 2013! Until my next post.

Summer Products to try out

It's crazy summer now here in the Philippines. The heat is insane and it's really the perfect time to go to the beach. Here are some newly released products that I've been meaning try out.

#1) Maybelline's Baby Skin Pore Eraser

I first spotted this product together with the BB water gel after watching Shu An on tried and tested episode 30. I'm really intrigued by this. Hopefully I get to purchase one for myself soon.

#2) Maybelline's BB watergel
Next up is another product from Maybelline. According to Shu An this product is super hydrating, lightweight and it gives your skin that healthy glow (really great for summer). I heard that it is available in Singapore. Hopefully it is also available here in the Philippines.

#3) Elf HD blush
I first saw this product on Judy's channel. People say that it is a dupe for Make up forever's HD blush.

#4) Avon totally kissable lipstick

Alot of beauty gurus/bloggers have been raving about this product. The color selection for this new line is fab and it'll look great for the summer season.

That's my to buy list for this summer. Has anyone tried out any of the products above? Share your thoughts with me on the comment section below. I'd love to hear from you guys. :)

Until my next post,

Cheers to a better vision and a happy tummy

I went to the eye doctor today to pick up my new glasses. I went there last week to have my eyes checked and the doctor told me that my eye grade went down so I need to get my lenses changed. I tried a few bunch of frames and this is the one I got. I've been wanting bigger frames for quite a while now and I've finally got the chance to have it changed. Hurray! My eye grade is only 100 now on both eyes. The doctor told me that my eye sight was improving and that I should keep it up but I don't know how I've managed to bring my grade down.

Then I went to "The Tea Life" in Binondo located at Mandarin Square building to chill out for a while. I love this shop. They offer good food at very affordable prices. I ordered this yummy green tea ice cream with blueberry and pudding which cost me only P90.00 ( 2.22 USD ). This shop in my opinion sells the most delicious ice cream here in Binondo. Their serving isn't that big but after I ate my order I was so full and I was shaking because the weather was cold and the store's air conditioning was quite strong. Even so, I enjoyed my visit here and I will surely come back again sometime soon.
I find that this is the perfect place to chill out on days when you feel down and gloomy. I dunno why but I felt really happy and energized the whole time I was at the shop. Maybe its because of those cute stuffed frogs they have on display or maybe it's because of their shop's color (green) which is very calming and pleasing to the eyes.
I also started documenting my diet. I hope that by doing this I would become more attentive to things that I'm eating. My goal is to lessen my sugar intake but I guess it would take me a while to overcome my sweet tooth. I need to start putting an end to all of my sweet cravings. Cheers to me and the start of making change in my lifestyle. I hope that I'd be able to pull it off.

My sisters and I

Today is a chill day. My family and I went to SM earlier today to buy stuffs at healthy options. Then we stopped by the grocery store to pick up some all purpose cream for the tiramisu my sister is going to make. After, we went home and slapped these masks on just to de-stress and enjoy the company of each other.
Hahaha It felt like we were ambassadors of etude house and the face shop (Well a girl can dream right). Nothing beats a nice quality time with your siblings. My sister just finished her exams so it was the perfect opportunity for us to wind down.

Keep calm and put on a face mask

Once in a while treat your skin to some good stuff.
I've been sleeping up late for a while now
and my skin's been totally dry and flaky so I decided to slap on a face mask.
I'm a vampire so I usually stay up late and sleep early in the morning.
I know it's bad but I can't help it. My mind works the best at night.
Gosh I need to fix my sleeping routine. Okay now on to the mask thingy.
I used The Face Shop's real nature mask sheet in pomegranate.
Pomegranate is high in vitamins and anti-oxidants.
It helps in anti-aging, cell regeneration, sun protection
and it also makes your skin appear youthful and firmer.
I've been told by my dermatologist that pomegranate helps improve the skin.
It's extract helps lighten scaring that might have been caused by acne.
You will need to leave the mask on for a good 20 minutes so that your skin will absorb all the good stuff.
I ended up watching pokemon while waiting for the good 20 minutes of mask indulgence.
Aaaahhhh tha mask smells nice! My skin feels so hydrated now.
I think I need buy more of it asap.

Until my next post,

Holiday and post holiday craziness

Holiday is over now but I still can't find the time to do a beauty related post since I've been crazy doing artworks to stack in my portfolio. Then there's the holiday fever and the post holiday procrastination... I didn't seem to be too much productive during the holidays. I'll try my best to be diligent in posting more beauty and fashion stuffs soon (cross fingers). Well here's what I've been up to the past few weeks.

This is just a random doodle art I did out of boredom.
Another doodle I made to celebrate the start of my 2013 :)
I'm in the process of making it digital and it looks like it will take a while before I get to finish this project.
Teehee I'm so obsessed with aliens at the moment.
Environment painting 101..

Some cutie vectors to add to my character designs.
Check out my other works here:

Well my holiday was a bit boring but I really enjoyed it a lot because I got to spend some quality time with my family and friends. I went to UST's 2012 Paskuhan and it was crazy! (as always)
The 3 saints on the roof of the main building..They look so dark and gloomy.
Aww and the beautiful main building.. Paskuhan truly gives you the Christmas feel.
Then I welcomed the new year by watching Katekyo Hitman Reborn.
This is such a nice anime.
My siblings and I totally recalled parts of our childhood while watching Pokemon season 1.
haha I'm such an anime fan. Well it is a big part of my childhood and I'll always be a fan of it.
Too bad I didn't get the chance to take photos of our food lusting. We were too excited to eat our noche buena and media noche that we forgot to document everything before eating.

Well that's about it for my holiday and post holiday adventure.
I hope that 2013 will be a blast for me.
Until my next post.
